Face Lift

In time, gravity, sun exposure, and the stresses of daily life take their toll on our faces: deep creases appear beside the mouth, the jaw line slackens, and folds and fat deposits appear on the neck. Facelifts counteract these problems by removing fat and tightening skin and muscles, giving your face a fresher, youthful look.

MACS Lift (Minimal Access Cranial Suspension Lift)

How does it differ from a traditional face lift?
The incision is limited to the skin hairline junction above the ear and anterior to the ear. There is no extension behind the ear.
The area of undermining, unlike a conventional facelift, is much smaller and only involves a portion of the cheek. Because there is less undermining, the blood supply to the skin is much more robust and the technique is therefore safer in smokers. There is much less risk of any skin necrosis, unlike other lifts.
Permanent suspension sutures are used to elevate the underlying tissue. These pass down to the neck, jowls and cheek fat pad. Unlike many other facelifts which do not include significant mid face elevation the MACS lift elevates the malar fat pad reducing the nasolabial folds.

Because the malar fat pad is elevated it combines very well with lower lid blepharoplasty, as can be seen in the illustrations. The result is a reduction in the height of the lower eyelid giving a more youthful, smooth appearance.

The MACS lift produces results at least equivalent, or in most cases, better than a conventional facelift. It is ideally suited to the younger patient with a sagging mid face. In patients with marked sagging of the neck it may be necessary in some cases to make an incision posterior to the ear to take up this slack, but in most cases this is not necessary

Neck Lift

A neck lift or chin liposuction is performed to remove excess fat beneath the chin and tighten loose skin in the neck. A less invasive alternative to a facelift, the procedure can produce dramatic results in the patient whose chin and/or neck has sagged with age or after weight loss.

Eyelid Surgery

Blepharoplasty can rejuvenate puffy, sagging or tired-looking eyes by removing excess fat, skin and muscle from the upper and lower eyelids. It may be performed for cosmetic reasons or to improve sight by lifting droopy eyelids out of the patient's field of vision.

Ear Surgery

You may be a candidate for ear pinning (otoplasty) if you have ears that stick out too far from the side of the head. You may also want to have an otoplasty procedure if your ears have an unusual or undesirable shape. The goal is to create ears that have normal folds and shape with a normal protrusion from the side of the head

Brow Lift

Browlifts can revitalize drooping or lined foreheads, helping you to look less angry, sad or tired. Using either traditional or minimally invasive (endoscopic) methods, the muscles above the eyes are altered to smooth lines and raise the eyebrows for a more youthful appearance.

Nose Surgery

One of the most common plastic surgery procedures, rhinoplasty is performed to reshape, reduce or augment a person’s nose, remove a hump, narrow nostril width, change the angle between the nose and the mouth, or to correct injury, birth defects, or other problems that affect breathing. 

Facial Implants

Whether or not we notice it consciously, full cheeks are often a part of how we judge a person's face. Cheek implants can have a major impact on the appearance and self-confidence of patients whose cheeks have thinned or sunken due to age, illness or other causes. Likewise, the chin helps provide harmony to the facial features. Often, patients come to the office desiring a smaller nose when, in fact, a chin augmentation provides a balance to the facial features. Implant sizes and shapes to augment the cheek and chin are tailored to each patient's desired appearance.
