Calf Augmentation is a procedure performed to increase the size and shape of the calves for either cosmetic of reconstructive purposes. Dr. Asfa performs this procedure for both males and females by using silicone implants or fat grafting or fat transfer. 



As a cosmetic surgery, the patient may desire larger, more defined calves. Often the procedure is requested by body builders who work out their calves daily, but are not getting the desired results.  Disease or injury can result in calf muscle atrophy or deformed calf shape. In these cases, Dr. Asfa will perform reconstructive calf augmentation, where the goal is more about creating symmetry between the two legs.
