Panniculectomy

A large amount of excess, low-hanging skin in the lower belly can cause discomfort, fungal infections, lower back pain, skin irritation and rashes. Dr. Asfa performs
panniculectomy surgery to remove this excess skin. A panniculectomy differs from a tummy tuck because the procedure is done solely to relieve symptoms of an overhanging apron of skin. However, some people with this apron of skin may also be a candidate for a standard tummy tuck. Dr. Asfa can perform both procedures at the same time.
